Lets begin.

Travelling has been a dream of mine ever since I was a little girl. I am fun adventurous and love to see new places and have new experiences. My dream of travelling started when I first say a picture of my mum in London and saw some of the pictures of her travels. This was about when I was 12, then at 15 I started babysitting and saving up some money to go overseas not knowing how much it would actually cost. This has been the struggle. Last year I completed my certificate in children’s services and that has helped me get a real job while also pursuing another passion looking after children. Looking after children is what I will hopefully be doing also when I go travelling and tick things off my bucket list. My biggest motivation and the place I want to see the most is Machu Picchu the ancient ruins in Peru, My friend showed me a picture of it this year and every time I feel unmotivated i just think about Machu Picchu and it motivates me to do better and to earn more and achieve more.

I am quite proud of myself as I have achieved some of my experiences on my bucket list. These experiences being donating blood, becoming an organ donor which are 2 things I’ve always wanted to do and have finally done it. My thought processes behind these two things were that I have enough blood and there are plenty of people out there which who don’t.  With the organs when I die I won’t need them and plenty of people do. I think organ donors alive or dead are very very honourable especially when they are alive.  Scuba diving is something else I have done just at a local pier; it was honestly absolutely incredible, I love the water but was a bit scared and freaked out a little as it felt like I couldn’t breathe. Although I felt like this I keep going and decided that fear isn’t a reason to not do something but more of a reason to try it. The fish were amazing... but I’ll write more about that in another post. Riding a camel is also something I have done which was very awkward and a little uncomfortable but at the same time amazing, even though it was in South Australia and not in Egypt, it was still one of the best experience thus far in my life. My first overseas holiday also sparked my interest and love for travel, this holiday was a 10 day cruise to 5 islands; these 5 islands include Vanuatu, Noumea, New Caledonia, Isle of Pines and Mystery Island.

Last week I went to the travel expo and decided this would be the year I would save up the money and also decided where my first travel would be. I have decided to do a contiki tour for 46 days to 22 countries. Although it will be a struggle I am determined and motivated to achieve this goal and take people along the journey with me.
